This guy knows what he is talking about. Why do people want to look at the side of their car? It's traffic you're interested in folks. A further note; You do not need to see any birds, tree tops, planes or sky in your mirror. Remember, it's traffic you're interested in.....

He was trying to adjust the switch for the power mirrors. All GM power mirrors have to be selected with that switch then can be adjusted by another. It's the same way in my car.

I follow this technique and it's true that blind spots exists near the body of the car. As long as vehicles don't hug the body of my car I don't have any problems. Trust me no one drives so close; not even motorcycles. Pedestrains may cause a problem but I always look over my shoulder at traffic signals to eliminate the chances of an accident. Also I love how overlapping is now limited.

take your.. left mirror. this dude has to think to figure out where his left and right is. i don't think i would trust him telling me how to adjust my mirrors bro.

gah this DOESNT eliminate blind spots in most cars, it just makes them smaller and moves them around, and in some cars its even more dangerous due to the limited view the rear view mirror provides. if you still need to check a blind spot then there is little point in sacrificing the view you have with your mirrors in the standard positions. |
